Body checking will not be permitted in any division, with the exception of both Major Peewee AAA and Minor Peewee AAA Divisions.

The tournament schedule will be available on-line by December 12th, 2011. The schedule, once issued, is subject to change. Teams must continue to check the web site for last minute game scheduling changes or until the schedule is marked final.
ALL teams must be ready to start play at 8:00 a.m. on December 280th, 2011. Teams within divisions scheduled for championship games on January 1st may request to start play on December 29th.
All teams are seeded by the Tournament Seeding and Selection Committee. In order to assist in this process, teams are required to complete the on-line "Games Schedule" component of their application. In this section, teams will record scores and opponents for all of their games. Teams are asked to complete this section regularly. The intent is to provide a competitive balance amongst divisions and to have the round robin groups as balanced as possible. The Seeding and Selection Committee relies on teams completing their Games Schedule in a timely manner to assist in this process. In previous tournaments a number of teams were not accepted because they failed to complete this section.
Teams that plan on attending an Ottawa Senators games will have special scheduling consideration to accommodate their plans. Teams MUST acquire their tickets through Senators Sports & Entertainment in order to be sure that the schedule will accommodate them. i.e. the tournament scheduler will utilize the list of teams provided by SSE.
AAA divisions are guaranteed 4 Round Robin games. All other divisions are guaranteed 3 Round Robin games. Some divisions played 6 games in 2011. Most championship rounds require a minimum of 5 games.
Some divisions may conclude with the Championship games on Friday December 30th while others may be completed on Saturday, December 31st or Sunday, January 1st.
The Tournament Organizers reserve the right to amend any rule, schedule or decision as they see fit, in the best interest of the tournament. As well, the Tournament Organizers may accept or reject any entry as they determine.
The prestigious Allen J. MacDonald Memorial Championship Trophy will be awarded to the championship team in each division.

- ATTEND AN OTTAWA SENATORS PRACTICE -Participants of the 2012 Bell Capital Cup will have an exclusive opportunity to take in an Ottawa Senators practice as they are put through their paces in preparation for an upcoming game.
- CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES AT SCOTIABANK PLACE - the 2012 Bell Capital Cup will stage all 19 championship games at Scotiabank, the home of the Ottawa Senators. Championship games will be played Friday December 30th, 2011 through Sunday January 1st, 2012.

- ESSO FRIENDLY GAMES -Register online for Esso Friendly Games - Interested in arriving early and playing some extra friendly exhibition games leading up to the tournament? Interested manager's or coaches are encouraged to complete the Esso Friendly Game section found in the team's online registration pages that are accessed via username and password (Esso Friendly Game form can be found on the main page once the team's online registration webpage is accessed). Participation is not included within the tournament entry fee, and therefore an additional cost may be required. More information will be made available in September.
