ODMHA Divisional Assignment Policy

The Bell Capital Cup organizing committee introduced a new policy for the 2011 Bell Capital Cup due to AA being the highest level (Tier 1) of hockey in the ODMHA. This policy has been developed to create a competitive balance between all divisions and with its success last year, it will continue for the 2012 Tournament.

As of November 15, 2011 the top two (2) teams in the Major Atom B divions of the ODMHA, UOVMHL, LSLMHL and the UCMHL standings will be moved into the Major Atom A division and compete at that level for the 2012 Bell Capital Cup.

The organizing committee will review if the third and/or fourth place team(s) winning percentage is over 70% and evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
The Bell Capital Cup organizing committee reserves the right to move teams among its divisions in order to create a competitive balance.
